Life’s Journey Christian Fellowship was born on February 26, 2006, when Pastor Morrow believed God was calling him to plant a church in south eastern Montana. Through unplanned events, a home group and he came together and began a journey in the same direction. After a fellowship was planted, in the Frank Brattin Middle School, the Lord led Pastor Morrow elsewhere and what began continued in his absence.
Soon after Pastor Morrow’s departure, Joel Payne moved to Colstrip to help the young fellowship grow and through his leadership LJCF moved into the Isabel Bills Community Learning Center. In the Summer of 2008, Joel resigned from the senior pastor position so that he could pursue a marketplace evangelism through his business.
In December of that year, Rod Benner joined our fellowship as the senior pastor. Since Rod’s arrival, we’ve continued to grow and impact our community as we focus on the vision of reaching the world for Jesus, one person at a time.
In January of 2018, Pastor Rod went to be with the Lord. Continuing the journey, we welcomed Casey Kluver as senior pastor later that year.
We are not starting a new church but continuing what Jesus started 2000 years ago. Our hopes are to encourage one another and unite with others who are on life’s journey toward a better place. We hope you will choose to journey with us.
“…let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing. But let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
